Bail application postponed to March 23.

BARBERTON- The bail application for Mr Jeronimo Matteus Matussi Masso, a 50-year-old Mozambican man arrested in connection with dealing in drugs was postponed to next week Wednesday.
This happened yesterday when Masso appeared before the Barberton Magistrate’s Court.
He was remanded in custody.

He was allegedly found in possession of heroin worth over R55 million by members of the Crime Intelligence together with the White River K9 unit along the N4 road at the Nkomazi Toll gate. This comes after they had obtained information about a suspicious vehicle which was alleged to have been transporting drugs.

The vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with a Gauteng registration number was then stopped and K9 unit’s dog led the officers to the fuel tank of the vehicle.
