#TeamMpumalanga impresses at Clash of the Choirs
The Disco King was a guest judge during the performance and he was obviously impressed by the presentation of the song.
Team Mpumalanga is keeping it real at the third season of Clash of the Choirs SA. JR and the team took Papa Penny’s smash hit, “Xi Tshangani hi Xi Lungu”, and mashed it up with Joe Shirimani’s “Hekele Heke”.
The Disco King was a guest judge during the performance and he was obviously impressed by the presentation of the song.
“I like the fact that you kept it original and you were still able to mash it up so beautifully. Na yi rhandza, I love it and I’m happy,” said Penny Penny.
Although the team got the whole house dancing and cheering, not all the judges felt it was a wow performance. Dr. Rebecca Malope felt the voices were too flat, while Anele Mdoda thought the creativity was a little way overboard.
