BARBERTON – A 29-year-old man arrested in connection with the rape of a three-year-old minor is expected to appearance for a formal bail application before the Barberton Magistrate Court today.
It is alleged that the suspect is also linked with other three charges of rapes also involving minors.
Mpumalanga News learnt that the suspect raped the toddler after he managed to take her while she was playing with her in a certain shop in the local town while her parents were shopping.
According to police the incidence happened about 15 minutes after her parents left her to play while they continue with their shopping. The child was later found by someone in the bushes with signs of being raped .
