Karabo Mogane swifts to the Top Six

There’s really no stopping our golden boy, Karabo Mogane, as he has made his way to the Top Six this week.

Karabo is gunning for the Idols SA tittle, and has along the journey proven to be a Baeable Bae. Karabo gave two sterling performances this week, the first one being Water Runs Dry” by Boyz II Men, and he killed it off with Hozier’s Someone new.

The MEC for Culture, Sports and Recreation, Ms Norah Mahlangu Mabena, was in attendance of this week’s show, and she says she was blown away by Karabo’s performances.

“This young man is talented, that is just an undeniable fact. Being at the State Theatre and seeing him perform live was just an amazing experience for me. We are a government that’s not just talk, but we put actions into the words we utter.

We want to see our youngpeople grow and do things they love and are passionate about,” said Mahlangu Mabena.

She also went on to urge Mpumalanga residents to rally behind Karabo with their votes.

“We are at a stage where he has proven himself to be a great and credible singer, all we have to do is vote. I hereby urge everyone to take voting seriously, Karabo has all the capabilities of being crowned this year’s Idol. We have done it before, we can surely do it
again,” she added.

Mahlangu Mabena says she had so much fun this week and wouldn’t mind attending again this upcoming Sunday.

“If there won’t be any pressing matters that require my attention, I am definitely going back to the State Theatre this Sunday. The people I have had the opportunity to speak to about votes are keen on attending, it would be nice to get sponsorship for the communities to attend this show. I am busy trying to secure tickets for the public to join us in cheering for our very own Karabo.

I am confident that he will definitely make it, again, I urge people to vote vote. We will not rest until we see him crowned,” she concluded.

To vote for Karabo, SMS 02 to 37400 or dial *120*33033#. You can also vote for free on WeChat or the Idols website, at idolssa.tv or via the M-Net app https://bit.ly/1NvtWye?#?IdolsKarabo.
