Pastors urged to pray for learners during exams time

Rev Mica Ntali said, "It's that time of the year again when our children will start to write their final examinations since we've made a promise last year. We urge all pastors to fulfil the promise and pray for the kids until the last day of their final paper."

MBOMBELA – The Moral Regeneration Movement in the province is reminding pastors about the covenant they made during the examination prayer day that was held last year at Ingwenyama Conference & Sports Resort in White River, hosted by the MEC for education,
Ms Regina Mhaule.

Rev Mica Ntali said, “It’s that time of the year again when our children will start to write their final examinations since we’ve made a promise last year. We urge all pastors to fulfil the promise and pray for the kids until the last day of their final paper.”

It’s believed that hosting such prayer sessions will play a vital role in helping the learners to perform and be focused as it’s alleged that there are evil spirits that are disturbing learners to such an extent that some of them can easily forget what they have learnt.

“The learners must remember to invite God before they can start writing their exams. They must also know that as a movement, we are supporting them and we are confident that they are going to leave many speechless, because they are going to perform very well because God is on their side,” concluded Ntali.

Last year the class of 2014 put a smile on the face of Mhaule after the minister of basic education, Ms Angie Motshekga, during the announcements of the results, indicated that she was very pleased about the efforts of Mhaule when it came to improving grade 12 results. The province was among others that performed very well as it managed to get a 79% pass rate.
