Church instils morals in kids
More than 300 youngsters from different branches of the El Shaddai Tabernacle Church were educated on moral values during a Children's Rally over the weekend.
KANYAMZANE – More than 300 youngsters from different branches of the El Shaddai Tabernacle Church were educated on moral values during a Children’s Rally over the weekend.
According to Virginia Lekhuleni, organiser of the event, the theme was “Climbing the ladder with Jesus”. The little ones were urged to showcase their talent in a Godly manner. She also urged parents to encourage their children to attend Sunday-school classes to learn more about Christianity and faith.
“We want them to understand that there are many activities that they can do to entertain themselves even in church,” she said.
The rally was marked with activities ranging from a choir competition, drama, poetry, and verse recitations. The children came from as far as Barberton, Komatipoort, Malelane, Pienaar, White River and surrounds.
