Prepare for a beauty, music, and fashion extravaganza

Fashionistas and fun lovers of the province have a reason to dress up, show up and be merry this weekend as the red carpet awaits.
The Mpumalanga Beauty, Music and Fashion Awards promises to be one of the most glamorous affairs to hit Mbombela.

The event is everything Mpumalanga, from MCs to nominees and performers. This is the organisers’ quest to put meaning to the term “local is lekker”.

“I need not emphasise how rich Mpumalanga is in terms of talent and fashion, this is our way of celebrating all of that. From ourselves, as Mpumalanga residents, to our very own. We have acts such as Bongi, Idols season 10 runner-up, award-winning Pretty Mhlongo, S’celo Moya and Eyakho, to name but a few,” said Talent Mabuza, organiser of the awards.

According to Mabuza, the tickets are selling like hot cakes, and the VIP seats are almost sold out.

“The response we have received from Mpumalanga as a whole is just overwhelming, the tickets are selling out fast.

“For a mere R120, you have access to the awards, and R250 lets you in as a VIP. The tickets are available at Sneakers Edition in I’Langa Mall, Riverside Mall and Promenade,” Talent added.

The glitz and glam are not to be missed as the event promises to be sizzling.

Hosted by the awesome Teddy ‘O’some’Sibiya, and Rise FM’s Hlengiwe Sindane, these are indeed awards which will promote indigenous pride.

They will be held at civic centre on Saturday and the red-carpet moments start at 17:00.
