YCL and EFF are locked in a battle of words
Young Communist league members were not pleased about members of Economic Freedom Fighters talking.
MBOMBELA – A week ago the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the province
defended itself when it was accused by the provincial secretary of South Africa
Communist Party (SACP), Mr Bonakele Majuba of stealing the latter party’s ideas
such as its policies and colour scheme. It seems as if the battle of words is
continuing.
Mpumalanga News learnt that the Young Communist League members
didn’t fold their arms by allowing the EFF to talk as they pleased about SACP.
The organisation said it was dismayed and disgusted by the fraudsters’ venom
aimed at the SACP. “People are frustrated and suffering from the hangover of
Marikana.
“It is very unfortunate to hear such attacks uttered by a tender
agency, which seeks to survive through tendering, hence it is obsessed about the
companies and intellectual property commission.
“It seems every fighter must first fight to register a CK before he/she can qualify to be called a fighter” said the provincial secretary of YCL, Ms Sibongile Mtsweni.
The people were not frustrated and confused by the renegades who masquerade as revolutionaries, while some of them were facing corruption, money-laundering and fraud charges.
The question was, who was fooling whom? “We can affirm that this newborn baby is already suffering from political diarrhoea, hence we hear its misguided voice daily,” she said.
Last week the national election coordinator, Mr Godrich Gardee, reiterated the statement made by Majuba. “No colour nor idea was patented by Majuba and his cronies in Mpumalanga. We are aware that he wants some relevance to the list conference.”
The SACP is a lapdog of the capitalist and white owners of wealth and land and we know for a fact that the SACP is a third force with no relevance in politics. They have let down their former leaders like Chris Hani and Joe Slovo.
