Conmen scam Hectorspruit residents

Residents of Nkomazi should be aware that conmen are masquerading as municipal employees and  are claiming they have to install electricity meters as the cost of it will rise by 36%. This is not true and these men, one of them of Asian descent, are not employees of Nkomazi Local Municipality.

Residents are advised to first obtain the names of anyone claiming to be who they are, ask for identification and then phone the relevent department/organisation before allowing them entry to their homes.
