Premier’s condolences to the Shongwe’s family
According to reports Shongwe's daughter,Sethu, was knocked down by a car on Wednesday afternoon in Ermelo.
MBOMBELA- The Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza has on behalf of the provincial government and the entire citizens of Mpumalanga conveyed condolences to the family of MEC Vusi Shongwe for the tragic loss of his eight year-old daughter.
According to reports Shongwe’s daughter,Sethu, was knocked down by a car on Wednesday afternoon in Ermelo.
“One cannot explain the feeling of loosing a child. MEC Shongwe’s loss is our loss. His pain is our pain. Our MEC has been the true champion of road safety, it is indeed sad that he lost a family member through a road accident. May God give him and his family strength during this difficult time,” said Mabuza.
The executive council is expected to visit MEC Shongwe’s family to pay their respect and show sympathy on behalf of the provincial government and the citizens of Mpumalanga.
