University’s strategic management team appointed

MBOMBELA – When two experienced senior academics meet great expectations are the order of the day.

This comes amid the recent appointment of Professors, Ramaranka Mogotlane and John Pempela Shongwe, by the University of Mpumalanga’s Interim Council.

The two will form part of  a Strategic Management Team (SMT) which will consist of four portfolios, however, only two have been filled.

The team is expected to create a quality tertiary institution that will be of an international standard.

Prof Mogotlane is currently responsible for academic affairs and is the chairperson of the SMT and Prof Shongwe is in the community liaison portfolio.
