Rape and assault at initiation school in Mpumalanga

They were sprinkled with muti before Mlombo penetrated some of them with his manhood and others with his finger, without their consent.

MBOMBELA- A 48-year-old man and his 41-year-old wife from Nkanini Trust in Masoyi are faced with over 49 charges of attempted rape, rape and assault with an intention of causing grievous bodily harm to 21 innocent girls who attended an initiation school at their place in 2012.
According to the charge sheet, after spending a few weeks at the school run by Mr Johan Jabulani Mlombo and his wife, Sister Mapalese Khoza , some of the girls were assaulted and raped. The girls aged between nine and 17 years  were sprinkled with muti before Mlombo penetrated them with his manhood and others with his finger, without their consent.

Some of the girls were also indecently assaulted. Mlombo was apparently helped by his wife in doing all this nasty act to the minors. “Should any of the complainants resist, the second accused scolded them and ordered compliance. After the ordeal, they were prevented from speaking to those still waiting to enter the room,” reads the charge sheet.

On August 30 the girls were ordered to wash themselves in the river before leaving the initiation school and were told not to tell anyone what had happened. The matter still continues in the North Gauteng High Court seated in Nelspruit.
