Mpumalanga has proved to be a province of so many stunning things, spearheaded by beauty and talent. The first Annual Mpumalanga Beauty, Music and Fashion Awards is yet another spectacle to celebrate and honor the talent in the province.

The awards are inclusive of the creative scene from music to fashion and beauty. “We acknowledge that these three categories are inseparable. You can’t have beauty and fashion without good music. These musicians have people dressing them as well.

We then thought of coming up with these awards and decided to celebrate the overall entertainment industry,” said Billy Brown, co-founder of the awards. The hype is now focused on the nominees party scheduled to take place at Casambo Lodge on March 7.

“We will be revealing the nominees in the different categories ahead of the actual award ceremony in June. This will be the opportunity for everyone to mingle and get to know each other.

We have a professional designer at a national level, who will be conducting a workshop to the young and upcoming designers,” added Talent Mabuza, also co-founder of the awards ceremony. According to these two gentlemen, the day will also be highlighted by a runway showcase from some of the local designers.

“Entrance is free. If you love, live and breathe fashion, you have to make your way to the party. It doesn’t matter if you are not a nominee, this is a great networking platform,” concluded Billy.
