Television beauty, motivational speaker and prominent MC, the legendary Gerry Rantseli-Elsdon, is set to send women on a magic-carpet ride of fi re-power words during the launch of the planned annual women’s event under the banner of The Elite Lifestyle Club.

Organised by Ziyaphenduka Promotions, this women’s event is scheduled for August 30 at Emnotweni Arena. “The Elite Lifestyle Club will host events focusing on women twice a year. The first will be held during Women’s Month in August and the next in December.

“Since this is our launch, we have so much in store for all women from all walks of life. We want to invite businesswomen, intellectuals, women leaders and politicians and all women in general because this is specially designed for them,” said the organisers.

“Through these events, we want to increase awareness of latest trends for women. We are going to use this platform to empower them with knowledge and brands that will take them to a better level,” she continued.

Rantseli-Elsdon, also a national TB ambassador, made a strong impression as the co-host of South Africa’s first Big Brother reality series and as a continuity presenter for M-Net. She is back on TV and this time as a host on satellite news network, ANN7.

She is an international humanitarian activist and outspoken voice on issues of women’s empowerment, community regeneration, well-being and its impact on women and children in Africa. She is actively working with organisations, both at home and abroad, to change the plight of children, people living with tuberculosis, and health and wellness.

As a motivational speaker, she now has the opportunity to share her inspirational story with women of all walks of life and in doing so she encourages them to reach for, and touch the stars.

She also conducts grooming and presentation workshops under the Gerry and friends banner, an area in which she excels. She sees herself also expanding her role and getting involved in other topics such as flying without wings, the goddess within and discovering your true purpose.

Gerry will share the stage with other women who are making a mark in their own unique way, such as the Mrs SA 2014 finalist, Faith Ndamse. The line-up of speakers also includes Nathi Nkambule who will present the spiritual health and a fashion show presented
by K.
