ANC send condolences to families and relatives

ANC urged truck drivers to stop and rest after two hours long distance driving.

MBOMBELA –“As a ruling party in the province would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of the 10 people who died in a terrible road accident on the R40 road in White River last night ”said the provincial secretary of the African National Congress ,Mr Lucky Ndinisa.

The horrific accident left many people in shocked ,six out of 40 people sustained critical injuries on the spot and most of them sustained burns.According to eye witness who saw the accident, a truck lost control and hit a bus and an SUV through oncoming traffic lane and subsequently caused flames.
Ndinisa went on and wish all those injured a speedy recovery and also urged truck drivers to stop and rest after two hours of long distance driving.

Mpumalanga News learnt that the Mec of community safety, security and liaison Mr Vusi Shongwe accompany by the executive mayor of Mbombela Local Municipality Mr Sibusiso Mathonsi will be visiting the injured at Themba and Rob’s Ferreira hospital today.
