Local resident walks away with fantastic prizes

BARBERTON – Shopping stood still for some shoppers at Pick n’ Pay as they glued their eyes on one lucky customer of Vodacom, Mr Basil Morgan who believes that Christmas came early for him this year – he won a R5 000 shopping voucher from Vodacom.
Morgan shopped until he dropped last week Wednesday after Vodacom handed over the “ Vodacom Trolley Dash Prize “ to him.
This comes after the company launched a regional competition which ran from March 6 to April 7, 2014 which is aimed at giving their customers a chance to win big.
Mpumalanga News learnt that Morgan managed to win to enter the competition after he signed up for a new Vodacom contract at Hyper Cellular in the town and the company would then enter into the competition where one winner gets selected through a random draw.
Morgan was given three minutes to fill a trolley with groceries to the maximum value of R5 000, the jubilant lucky customer had this to say:
“I was over the moon when Vodacom called and told me that I had won. It is really a fantastic prize and I am grateful for this opportunity” he explained.
Morgan said that when he entered the competition, he never thought that he would win but, “Here today I am a lucky customer who won the Trolley Dash Prize,“ he concluded.
