Mother’s day celebrated in style

MBOMBELA – Mothers from different places celebrated Mother’s Day in style during the 1st Annual WOW Beauty Festival in honour of all the mothers at Galito’s parking lot at the city centre.

This was a classy event that was organized by Women of Wonder Hair, Beauty Boutique and Academy,featuring different speakers who spoke on various topics ranging from empowering and motivating women to learn to stand up learn to do things on their own.
They were also encouraged to stay beautiful, both internally and externally.

“God took his time when he created a woman. We are said to be jacks of all trades. Women are highly favoured by God,” said Pastor Florence Motsa, a motivational speaker who uplifted spiritually and touched the lives of guests who were part of the celebration.

She said women must not be taken as objects as they are the pillars of every society adding that without them, there’s no success.
“We need to be proud of ourselves,the way we are. It doesn’t matter what people say about you and as a wise woman you should rely on God to conquer everything,” she said.

Delivering a speech, one of the organizers , Ms Phumi Mrati , indicated that mothers need to be empowered and motivated since they are playing a very important role in our societies as she went on:

“We felt that we need to do something for our mothers. As much as I believe that we are where we are today because of their love and support, so they deserve to be spoiled, empowered and motivated.

We don’t have much, but today we want to show the world that we value all the mothers as we are celebrating mother’s day.”

She alluded that this gathering was just the beginning of bigger things to come.

During the celebrations, women got an opportunity to be spoiled by receiving a massage and dressing tips and Fab-Clothing and Online Lavish also showcased their clothing range.
