KwaMhlanga teen to represent SA in pageant Paraguay

Siphokazi Jennifer Mohohole hopes to jet off for the Miss Pre-teen Globe SA international pageant in July.

Siphokazi Jennifer Mohohole from KwaMhlanga is a 13-year-old, ready to take on the world. She is the current Miss Pre-teen Globe SA and will represent Mpumalanga at the Miss Pre-teen Globe International in Paraguay from July 1 to 7.

During a conversation with Mpumalanga News and with her father, Oscar Mohohole, Siphokazi said she is thrilled to obtain a national crown at her age.

Confident and beautiful, she wants to inspire her peers to follow their dreams. “This is an amazing opportunity for me. I can’t wait to advocate for body positivity and finding new ways to uplift the lives of underprivileged children in South Africa and the world.”

She said being Miss Pre-teen Globe SA has its challenges, but Siphokazi has managed to balance it with school and other interests such as netball and reading. She said she appreciates the opportunity the beauty pageant has afforded her.

The young girl’s career advanced in 2021 when she won a number of pageants.

Siphokazi said she is inspired by her mother, Sibongile Mohohole’s, passion for uplifting the community.

“I participate in charity drives that aim to empower girls and the rest of the community, which is why I established the Siphokazi Mohohole Foundation. My mother taught me to always share what I have and impart knowledge with my peers so that we can be better citizens.”

Oscar said he is proud of his daughter for putting in the hard work to achieve her dreams.

“As her family, we are not going to take credit for her achievements, but rather appreciate the support our community has shown us as we engage in raising funds for her travels to Paraguay. Siphokazi will definitely fly the South African flag high.”
