Zulu said they have not only provided great quality products, but good service delivery at the best prices, and they have created employment for locals. “We started as the only manufacturers in the Lowveld with only 11 employees. As the market grew, the factory also grew, and we managed to employ a total of 48 locals.” He said one of the successes they achieved is obtaining the quality assurance by the South African Bureau of Standards, which cemented them as a top manufacturer.
Over the years, they have invested in quality automated equipment that can produce at least 24 000 units in a day’s production. Located in KaBokweni, they managed to break into markets further away in Mpumalanga, within a 250km to 300km radius.
“We have manufactured tiles for major residential and commercial construction projects. These include residential estates in Mbombela, shopping centres and hospitals such Themba Hospital around the corner and Siteke Hospital in eSwatini,” Ivor said.
He said the goal now is to keep their best prices for customers to reap the benefits of their loyalty to the company over the past decades. “Of course, we will also continue to improve our production processes for simply the best roof tiles our customers can trust. We are serious like that,” Ivor said.
