Phola upcoming artist has been nominated for MAMAs 2023 Awards

Hip-hop, Trap and Amapiano upcoming artist, Ben Allie Ndlovu aka Nandzi Flex Kid, has big plans for his music career and has been nominated for the MAMAs 2023 awards.

A young and vibrant upcoming vocalist, Ben Allie Ndlovu, is determined to take the entertainment industry by storm. Better known as Nandzi Flex Kid, this local artist has been nominated for the best upcoming artist at the 23rd Mzansi Arts and Media Awards (MAMAs), which will be held on July 15.

This 24-year-old is a hip-hop, trap and amapiano artist. Ndlovu said he likes to tell stories in his music regarding what is happening around his community.

He started making music in 2014 and had his first popular hit single, covering ‘Rockstar’ by Post Malone. He changed it to Siswati, and that encouraged him to make more music.

“My second song, released in 2021, is called ‘Inajah’ and was played on MTV Base on DStv. This boosted my confidence even more. In 2022, I released a song against gender-based violence, titled ‘Stop GBV’, and this was my way to raise awareness about this issue,” he said.

In the past years, the artist has worked with others like Brailo, Mledge and Ronza Wakhona.
At the moment, Ndlovu plans to release his EP, Kuhlata Tlaba, on April 24.
