WATCH: Mpumalanga in devastation after heavy rainfall
Some families in areas such as Tekwane South and Nkomazi were left homeless by the floods that resulted from the continuing rains.
In the past few weeks, several communities in Mpumalanga faced continued heavy rainfall leading to widespread floods across the province.
In light of the above, the MEC for co-operative governance and traditional affairs, Mandla Msibi, and the Ehlanzeni District’s executive mayor, Cllr Jesta Sidell, held a media briefing earlier today, February 16, to provide updates on the government’s flood intervention efforts.
