Rooikat player from Lydenburg in dire need of an operation

After an injury on the rugby veld this past season, Innocent Masinga, a player for the Rooikat Rugby Club, needs surgery to repair a pinched nerve.

The injury has left his right arm partially paralysed.
The management of the Rooikat Rugby Club is asking for the community’s help to put Innocent back on the rugby field, if at all possible.

Masinga has been for treatment in Mbombela at a specialist, but it became evident he would need an operation. The operation is about R100 000. Masiga helped the Rooikatte to win the Lowveld Rugby League 2022 and the team would be very appreciative to give Masinga the opportunity to have his arm operated on.

Please phone Danie Ackermann (team manager) on 073 502 6419, or Thapelo Mohlala (team mate) on 076 978 4209.
