Mbombela young model is a dynamite in her right

Zoë Hlatshwayo-Nanni is a fashion model and advocate for empowerment for young girls like herself.

Zoë Hlatshwayo-Nanni, a 15-year-old fashion and pageant model, is a true definition of the saying dynamite comes in small packages.

With a petite body and soft voice, she is ready to take over the world while advocating for girls’ empowerment.

She said she grew up witnessing her mother giving back and always supporting a certain cause. “I believe it is some kind of a generational gift, because my grandmother cared so much for the community. It is one gift I cherish and wish to pass on to my children, so it may be a great legacy,” she said.

Zoë hosts motivational talks for her peers and donates essentials to less privileged children.

“I love giving back to my community, and I love fashion and beauty, too. So what better way than doing everything I love simultaneously?” She was recently crowned Miss Teen Hazyview 2023 and is ready to preach her beliefs to uplift her peers.

“It is such an honour that my potential and everything I have done and still going to do are being recognised. This means I should never give up on my dream to be the voice of the voiceless. I continuously encourage my peers to love themselves and be proud of their image. The era we are growing up in is all about being young queens who take care of one another,” she said.

Zoë said she aspires to be an anaesthesiologist. “I am already pursuing this dream. I believe that as soon I decided I wanted to follow that career, I was already on that path. Everything starts in the mind.”

“It is an interesting field of study, because technology in science has allowed humans to develop ways to combat excruciating pain to perform certain operations on the body.”

She said she strives to be a role model for girls.

“I am not saying that I want to be a hero, but an individual who takes part in the community in a positive way.” This youngster also aspires to be Miss Universe.
