Mbombela’s DJ Godson drops a new project

DJ Godson SA is about to burst onto the national stage with his Indispensable Soulful House Music Project.
The project features artists such as Nickson, Treasure Maseko (from Matsulu), Nosy Lee and Stick&Aura, and remixes by Kay9ine and King Lay (from KaNyamazane). The sound of this project confirms that DJ Godson took time to put it together and that he is a musically brilliant DJ and producer.

DJ Godson has great respect for music lovers, hence the quality of his new project. “I always try my level best to give my fans and all music lovers something to feast on. I just hope and pray they will enjoy this project, because I really put in a lot of effort and time on it.”

DJ Godson, born Dumisani Nkalanga, hails from the dusty streets of Mbombela and is now based in Pretoria. He fell in love with music when he was still in high school. He was an underground DJ in Pretoria from 1999 until he started his own record label, Bluesoundz, in 2009. Under this label, he has released and produced many artists, and his own projects.

Driven by his passion for education and continuous improvement, DJ Godson took a break from entertainment to study PhD in intelligence augmentation. “It’s always a wise idea to have a backup plan, especially when you are in this industry,” he advised.

DJ Godson can be found spinning the best soulful, deep, Afro-house music in clubs around and outside South Africa. This artist does not restrict himself. He can switch from soul to dance music to uplifting soulful vocal house mixes to a powerful blend of progressive high energy house. He actually accommodates all audiences.
