TS Galaxy and Arrows share the spoils

In this 2022/23 season, the resurrected Rockets are the only team without conceding a goal

Golden Arrows held TS Galaxy to a scoreless draw in their fourth DStv Premiership game on Saturday at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

The Rockets maintained their four-game unbeaten run as they carried on with their strong start to the season.

The results saw Abafana Bes’thende drop to the bottom of the table at number 14 after two draws and two straight losses, while the Rockets remained second in the league standings with eight points after two draws and two victories.

While there was no attacking action during the stalemate, Galaxy had a tiny advantage in terms of ball possession and successful passes.

Galaxy had a lot of the ball in the opening minutes of the first half as they rode the momentum of Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United’s recent victories.

In this 2022/23 season, the resurrected Rockets are the only team without conceding a goal, making Melusi Buthelezi the only goalie with four clean sheets in four games, continuing his stellar play from the previous season, when he had eight in 11 games.

The Rockets continue to collect points and hope to place in the top half of the log standings.

TS Galaxy will head to Port Elizabeth to take on the irate Chippa United on Wednesday August 24, who has only one victory, one tie, and two losses in four games while giving up six goals.
