Lowveld businesswoman helps others ignite their spark

Dolly Mbuyane's passion is to encourage others to be the best version of themselves they can be.

A straight talker and explorer of life are terms that describe magnate Dolly Mbuyane. She is a businesswoman who runs a successful local cleaning company, Nozihle Cleaning Service, and is a motivational and public speaker using her platform, Radiant Minds.

She is one the people in the Lowveld who is climbing the entrepreneurial ladder while building and mentoring those aspiring to be esteemed individuals.

This Marite-born professional woman said she grew up with a business-orientated background and always participated in debates and speech competitions.
“I was influenced mostly by my father and aunt. I grasped motivation from my father’s dedication to raising his children and running his businesses. From both him and my aunt, I was able to understand that a business has seasons, and learnt to never give up on whatever I set my mind on,” Mbuyane said.

“Motivating other people has been a passion. I have always been confident in public speaking, and why not put it to good use? I have witnessed a lot of people who lack confidence and self-esteem. All I do is to help such people reignite their spark through my motivational talks. This is how Radiant Minds came about, which encourages individuals to walk with an open mind and to have a teachable spirit.”

Some of her goals include being a mother and to impart her wisdom to her three children. “Giving back to my community is part of my goals. I have provided mentorship for free and I offer free motivational sessions on certain occasions.”

She said serving as a board member in the Greater Rape Invention Project (GRIP) in the Lowveld has allowed her to play a part in elevating lives.

Mbuyane is currently compiling her first motivational book, Morning Devotions. “The book will encourage people to wake up and subdue, because some things pass us by because of a lack of knowledge and motivation. I want to share my experience and wisdom on how to tackle the world through confidence,” she said.
