Msogwaba woman receives support for her organisation

Valeria Mashaba appreciated the help and assistance she received for the launch of her drop-in centre.

Through hard work and asking for assistance to grow her non-profit organisation (NPO), Valeria Mashaba was pleased with the support the community of Msogwaba showed as she launched her Siphucul’impilo Drop-in Centre.

The launch took place at Phumuleni Mission Church of South Africa in Msogwaba on Saturday August 16. The NPO is aimed at providing basic needs for underprivileged children and rehabilitating drug addicts.

The elated Mashaba said that many stakeholders honoured the invite and showed her more support than she had anticipated. “I would like to thank Super B for the great support and Shoprite for the voucher with which they sponsored me. I appreciate those who brought clothes and food parcels, and helped me to cook for our community on the launch day. The assistance I received will surely go a long way,” Mashaba said.

She has distributed some of the clothes to underprivileged children and will continue to identify more kids in need of donations. Mashaba is determined to get her centre up and running.

“I am working hard to build the centre so that underprivileged children and drug addicts will have a home in our community.”
