MTN Joyous Celebration continues to spread JOY to their fans with the second leg of their continental tour

Tickets for the Mpumalanga leg are now available from R280 at Webtickets and Pick n Pay.

MTN Joyous Celebration is excited to announce the second leg of their nationwide tour which started at Carnival City during the the Easter weekend.

The tour will now head to the place where the sun rises in Middleburg, Mpumalanga at the Steve Tshwete Banquet Hall on Saturday, June 25 from 19:30.

MTN Joyous Celebration is taking praise and worship to new blessed heights as they celebrates 26 years of musical magic from the talented ensemble that will see them travel to different parts of South Africa and the neighbouring countries after the successful release of their 26th album and live DVD recording that took place at the Joburg Theatre on Saturday, March 5.

Fans of the multi award-winning ensemble have a chance to be more than spectators of the show by participating in the Share Your Light campaign that will give a lucky gospel group or choir an opportunity of a lifetime.

Choirs and vocal groups (between 8 and 16 members) within the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality are encouraged to submit a performance video of no longer than 5 minutes to stand a chance to be chosen as the opening act for the Mpumalanga leg of the MTN Joyous Celebration tour.

The winning choir will showcase their talent on the stage and share their musical light with South Africans.

After the difficult and devastating period, we experienced with the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to spread the message of JOY at the end of a very dark tunnel. What better way to bring that to life than through the joyful music of the esteemed gospel band?

The continental tour will travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Botswana, eSwatini, Kwa Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape, and the North West between July and October 2022.

Ticket sales for the KwaZulu Natal leg of the tour will go on sale from Tuesday, 14 June 2022.

The first stop of the tour was a three-night run at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City during the Easter period.
