Hillary Gardee to be laid to rest in KaMagugu

The family’s spokesperson announced the details of the funeral on Thursday morning, May 5.

The Gardee family’s spokesperson, Sinawo Tambo of the EFF, announced that Hillary Gardee’s funeral service will be held in Church on the Hill in KaMagugu on Saturday May 7.

“Confirmations have been made and preparations are in place to lay Hillary to rest.”
He forwarded the family’s appreciation to the public and local and national stakeholders for their support in consoling the family.

“EFF leadership and members and family members will be present at the funeral. The extended family members from Nigeria will attend the proceedings virtually due to the short notice of the situation,” Tambo explained.

Hillary was found dead on Tuesday morning, May 3, near the Sabie/Lydenburg Road. She was reported missing on Saturday, April 30.
