Mpumalanga Premier to visit Ndebele icon, Esther Mahlangu

The Mpumalanga Premier, Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, will leading a delegation of MECs and Local Government leaders to visit the homestead of the iconic Ndebele artist, Dr Esther Mahlangu on Wednesday March 23.

An attack on Mahlangu at her residence over the weekend led to the Premier’s visit. She will be accompanied by MEC Vusi Shongwe and senior SAPS officials.

Mtshweni-Tsipane condemned the robbery act and expressed confidence in the capacity and expertise of the law enforcement agencies to arrest the offenders. She urged communities to cooperate with police by sharing information.
