According to family members, a short memorial service will be held at Ndubane’s youngest daughter’s house in Msholozi B Section, where Ndubane had lived for many years until her death.
“Her body will then be taken to her family’s home in Shabalala Trust outside Hazyview,” said Moses Ngobeni, her son-in-law. Gogo Ndubane’s funeral service will be on Friday June 25 at 06:00. She will be buried in Shabalala Cemetery under strict Covid-19 regulations.

Unlike many elders her age, Ndubane’s hearing and mental abilities were still functioning well until a couple of days prior to her death. In a recent interview with Mpumalanga News, she was able to express herself with very little help from her family.
