Memorial service for murdered teenager girl to be held tomorrow
Her decomposing body was found dumped at Nkomeni Trust on Sunday, seven days after she had gone missing.
A memorial service for 14-year-old Nomqhele Michelle Maseko is scheduled to be held under strict Covid-19 regulations at eNdumisweni Church in Mangozeni Trust, on Thursday.
The victim’s uncle, Sicelo Maseko, said the family was deeply distraught about his niece’s mysterious death.
“Her memorial service will held at 14:00 at the church on Thursday. The family is still in the dark as to how she died as we are still waiting for the post-mortem results,” he said.

Nomqhele was reported missing on March 27. Posts of her disappearance were circulated in the various social media platforms. Her decomposing body was found dumped at Nkomeni Trust on Sunday, seven days after she had gone missing.
Capt Shirley Nsimba, spokesperson for the KaBokweni police, said the police opened an inquest and investigations were ongoing.
