In light of the worsening Covid-19 pandemic, the South African Revenue Services implores taxpayers to minimise visits to its offices. Taxpayers are urged to preferably engage with SARS through electronic channels such as eFiling.

The public can also engage with Sars by using the SARS MobiApp, the website, www.sars.gov.za and the Online Query System. “This will help to protect both taxpayers and our staff while ensuring that we all observe the Covid-19 protocols and regulations,” reads a media statement.

This follows the address made by President Cyril Ramaphosa, on December 14, regarding the second wave of the Covid-19 that has engulfed the country.
