Fury after Mpakeni murder case is withdrawn

The prosecution was not happy with the evidence contained in the docket, and as a result, the matter was sent back for further investigation

The recent release of a murder accused from police holding cells, has angered the community of Mpakeni.

The case against the murder accused, Selby Mbuluja Nkosi, was withdrawn from the Mpumalanga Division of the High Court on August 12 due to lack of evidence.

Nkosi was arrested and charged with murder shortly after his half-sister, Aletta Nomvula Nkosi, had been found murdered and her body hidden in a maize field at her home in May 2018.
