Mhala police station closed after officer tests positive for Covid-19 virus

All communities serviced by the Mhala police station are advised that this police station has been temporarily closed after one of its members tested positive for the Covid-19 virus yesterday.

The community service centre will now operate from the premises of the Roman Catholic Church, approximately 200 metres from the Mhala police station.

The police station can be reached on (079) 396 4587 for all emergencies and complaints. The station commander, Colonel John Ngwenya, can also be contacted on (082)565 8438. The telephone lines at Mhala police station will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

The building will be decontaminated and normal services at the station will resume on Wednesday, July 1.
