Police arrest man in possession of counterfeit cash
His arrest came after police received information about a man who was suspected for dealing in illegal activities in the Mkhondo area.
Police arrested a man who was found in possession of more than R500 000.
Maliusio Kadoma, 40, was arrested on Wednesday and was charged for fraud and possession of counterfeit money.
His arrest came after police received information about a man who was suspected for dealing in illegal activities in the area.
They then responded on the information, observed the man’s movements and later arrived at his house unannounced. While there, they found him in possession counterfeit notes to the value of about R570 000.

On further investigation, police also found a car with false registration number plates.
Kadoma appeared in the Piet Retief Magistrate’s Court on Thursday and he was granted bail of R3 000 and is expected to appear on May 4, 2020.
