Three police officers die in separate incidents
The officers died during a critical time where the province had just launched the Festive Season Operation.
MBOMBELA – Three police officers died in separate incidents last week. The Provincial Commissioner, General Mondli Zuma said the officers died during a critical time where the province had just launched the Festive Season Operation.
The commissioner described the officers as dedicated officers with experience who were going to impart knowledge to police trainees after completing their course at the college.

“They will be placed at various stations and specialised units in the province to bolster service delivery and increase manpower as well as offer them an opportunity to put into practice what they have learned. The three that passed on were some of the experienced as well as dedicated members that were going to be useful in guiding and transferring skills to the young constables,” he said.
General Zuma advised the public to drive cautiously during this time of the year, especially during the rainy season.
