Sam Holdings owner to apply for bail today
It was reported earlier this week that the businessman was admitted at a private hospital after he complained of stomach cramps.
Sam Chabalala of Sam Holdings will appear in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court today for a formal bail application.
He charges of fraud, corruption, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition as well as contravention of the immigration Act 13 of 2002. This is after he was arrested by the Hawks last Friday in eMalahleni.

His first appearance was on Monday, September 9 where the case was postponed.
