Are you in the City of Mbombela and looking for a church you can call your home?

If the answer is yes, the newly-launched branch of the Turning Point International Christian Centre at TUT next to the R40 towards Barberton, could be your spiritual home.

This launch comes 25 years after the church was founded by none other than the renowned radio pastor and motivational speaker, Pastor Negros Manana and his wife, Florence. They officially launched the new branch at the centre of the academic institution on June 2.

The Turning Point International Christian Centre has close to 1 500 members, both young and old, from different parts of Mbombela. The launch of the new branch will help some members to worship closer to their homes rather than spending more time on the road to the headquarters in Plaston.

“We have witnessed a massive growth of people coming from Nelspruit to worship at Plaston, hence the opening of this branch which will also enable new members to worship with us and attend church services closer to their homes,” explained Manana.

The first service at the TUT started on a high note, with congregants being revived by Manana’s sermon on the importance of having a vision in their lives.

“Someone with a vision is always energetic and a vision keeps you young. When you have a vision, nothing can stop you. As a church, our vision is seeing our own building in the capital city of Mbombela. A vision makes you see a city in a village. A vision is about seeing a solution and the end results,” said Manana.

The praise and worship team and the church choir also draw one closer to God. Members of the church are also supported to grow spiritually and some groomed to be pastors and lead their own churches.

“When someone has reached a point of starting their own church, we won’t be stumbling blocks to them, we release and bless them as long as they continue to preach the gospel of Christ,” explained Manana.

Members of the community are invited to worship at Turning Point International Church from 09:00 until 11:00 every Sunday. Come and be part of the better things God is doing. The church also provides life classes between 11:00 and 11:40.
