Final call for Dr Tumi at Graceland

ALL roads will on Saturday lead to the Graceland Hotel & Casino in Secunda, Mpumalanga where gospel sensation Dr Tumi will be performing during the-White Worship and Praise in Concert with Dr Tumi.

Organised by Ziyaphenduka Marketing and Events Logistics in conjunction with the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) and Graceland Hotel & Casino, Dr Tumi, who recently released a new single titled Wafika is expected to set the house on fire.

This is going to be Dr Tumi’s foremost show after he returned from his first ever Zimbabwean tour this week.

Mpumalanga Province which is rich in so many ways, including gospel music, and famous for its rare combination of lowveld and escarpment, sub-tropical weather, summer rains and unbelievable scenic beauty, has through the MTPA which is the guardian of the province’s best-kept secrets such as the Kruger National Park, Three Rondavels, God’s Window, Blyde River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes decided to be a major sponsor  in bringing Dr Tumi to Secunda on Saturday, 25 August.

The “sold out” signs are expected to go up before the show starts as Dr Tumi is planning to belt out his best-known songs at this majestic resort which is conveniently located off the N17 highway, in Secunda – an hour from the East Rand, and 90 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The event has long been on the wish list of many gospel fans for the gifted songwriter par excellence who is graced with in season melodies that flow from the throne.

To add spark to the event, the organisers have included phenomenal gospel outfit His Grace Ministry to warm up the stage before Dr Tumi graces the stage and performs songs from his albums – Love and Grace, Heart of a King and his latest offering, The Gathering of Worshippers.

Songs such as Nothing Without You, You Are Here, Speak A Word, Because Of Jesus and There Is No Other Name will have the most impact on the audience.

And to the expectation of his fans, Dr Tumi is also going to give a rendition of his brand-new single, Wafika, which was released on July 27, and within a few hours, it already shot to the top of the charts.

Ziyaphenduka’s CEO Bruce Kgapane said tickets sales were going faster than anticipated and encouraged those who had not grabbed theirs, to do so immediately to avoid disappointment.

“Fans should not say they have not been warned. Walala, wasala,” he said.

Tickets for the All-White Worship and Praise in Concert with Dr Tumi are available for R250 at Computickets, Shoprite, Checkers and selected outlets including churches.
