New SASSA payment cards to be issued from May
Beneficiaries using the old card should not panic it will continue working until December 31, 2018.
Existing beneficiaries will swap their Old cards for the new one from May 2 until the end of September, 2018.
The reissuing of lost, stolen or accidentally damaged cards is currently taking place. New payment cards will be issued at SASSA offices, identified service points or at post offices to beneficiaries who access their grants using electronic or cash payment
