No cash taken in CIT heist

A G4S armed vehicle was travelling along the Lehawu-Pienaar road when a white Audi and white Nissan double cab started shooting at the armed vehicle and the tyres got flat.

Police have launched a massive manhunt for the suspects who injured the driver of the G4S armed vehicle during the attempted Cash In Transit incident that occurred yesterday.

They injured the driver on the right thigh and assaulted him on the face with firearms in order to force him to open the AV at the back. The driver told them that it is only Head Office that can open the rear door.The suspects tried to explode the AV with explosives but failed. They then drove away.
