Twitter lashes out at Chicco Thwala for trying to stop Brenda’s movie
It is reported that Thwala says he has all the rights to Brenda’s music and is taking legal action to stop the film.
The public seems not to be pleased with Brenda Fassie’s former producer Sello Chicco Thwala for threatening to stop the release of Brenda: The True Story.
A London-based film and television production company called Showbizbee recently announced that they will be producing the movie in conjunction with the Brenda Fassie Estate and Legaci Nova.

Trying to stop the Brenda Fassie movie is like trying to sit on the Sun in the Morning to stop it rising, it's not going to stop.

I have long suspected that #chiccotwala was feeding #BrendaFassie drugs and turning her into shame especially before an album is released. Now I confirm that. Why the fuck does he own 90% of her estate. Chicco is a piece of shit who only saw Brenda as a tool to make him money.

He has vowed that the planned biopic about Brenda Fassie will not go ahead without his blessing or him getting cut – he thinks he owns the story of Bongani Fassie's mother 😡😡
