ANCYL in Limpopo says president Zuma is a reflection of a highly insecure president

Our ANC always talks about collective responsibility when questioned about our failures but the president makes unilateral decisions and no senior leader is concerned.

The ANCYL of Collins Chabani subregion says it has noted with disbelief the recent ‘ sign the deal’ reshuffling which is informed by nothing but factional positioning.

“It is quite shocking that ministers who have just served a mere 6 months are now moved to new positions and the confusing part is that the year is almost over yet there is no progress under his leadership and keeps on changing ministers. This cabinet reshuffling is just focused on enriching few Indians through a fly-by-night rehearsed ideology titled Radical Economic Transformation while the rest of the society languish in poverty,” the statement read. They added by saying that the reshuffling was a reflection of a highly insecure President who finds it wise to be surrounded by those he can manipulate.

“We feel sorry for those departmental workers who have to keep on removing wall photos of ex-ministers, can you imagine the trauma of knowing that every six months you must be climbing the ladder removing photos of ex-ministers. We would not be shocked to wake up and hear that Gauteng has moved to Cape Town and North West will be temporary based in Soweto. As the ANCYL Collins Chabani want to salute Mr President, at least this time he had the decency to reshuffle in broad daylight, unlike waiting for 54 million people to sleep.”

The statement further read: we believe that the continuity of Faith Mutambi and Bathabile Dlamini remaining ministers makes it difficult to legitimise the two recent reshuffles. It must be worrying all of us that Honourable Mmamoloko Kubayi becomes the country’s third minister of Communications this year after ministers Muthambi and Dlodlo, the logic of office work might be interesting. As the ANCYL we believe firing Blade Nzimande was just a diversion of attention, a real reason for this reshuffle was to appoint Mahlobo as energy minister to come and finalise the nuclear deal since he is not worried about his unknown reputation.

Maybe its time that Honourable Khensane Khubayi becomes a President of the country and the president becomes a minister of Communications, if she can run so many departments in a few months, why not a country? We must all be worried that every time there is a cabinet reshuffle, we are also moving closer to a dictatorship. We believe this is the same system which African dictators have applied when they want to remain in power. The battle is now left within our branches, it is now clear that this is a one man’s country, our hope is in branches to unite and elect capable leaders in December.
