The 2017 annual indigenous games underway in Seshego stadium

It is day three of the 2017 annual indigenous games that are hosted at Seshego stadium in the Limpopo province.

Participants from across all the nine provinces from their respective sports codes are on a serious mission of collecting points in as much as they can.
Also team Mpumalanga cannot be singled out from the said shining provinces in some sporting codes. For example, current standings in Morabaraba, Mpumalanga is in position three.

In Intonga, where both girls and boys are displaying with their fighting skills using sticks. Hopes are that gold medals are to be loaded.
By the end of today’s games, it will be clear as to how many awards Mpumalanga province will accumulate the sporting codes that will be wrapping up.


The attendance by local people, in particular the youth, is very promising and it shows that young people are interested in the games.


All games will be finalised on Thursday with participants awaiting to see if they take something back to their respective provinces.
