Dludluma residents embark on a service delivery protest
No vehicles were allowed to pass at the bridge.
Learners and commuters were left stranded this morning when the residents of Dludluma Trust in Nkomazi blocked the road on the bridge that connects Naas, Dludluma and Ngwenyeni. No vehicles were allowed to pass at the bridge. The residents embarked on a strike this morning complaining about service delivery in the area.
Dludluma is one of the areas in Nkomazi which still doesn’t have a tarred roads.
“We feel neglectedit has been years since our issue has been ignored. That is why we decided to protest,” says Mayibongwe Khoza.

The protesters are now waiting for officials to address them.
