Idols SA winner set to perform at Emnotweni
He will be sharing the stage with former Idols contestants, Lungisa and Sphelele. New Soul, known as Emkay in the popular drama Skeem Saam, and local songstress Princess Ndlovukazi will also serenade the crowd.
Idols SA season 11 winner, Karabo Mogane, is bringing his Matters of the Heart Tour to Emnotweni Arena today.
Following the successful launch of his new album in June, fans will be treated to a soulful session. The two-hour set will be nothing short of amazing, with good music by musician and actor, Tswyz, known for his role as Mrekza on Generations: The Legacy.
Mogane said the purpose of the album is to take people on a journey of love. “Every person who listens to the songs will be able to take something from it, regardless of what they are dealing with in their relationships at any given time,” said Mogane on HuffPost SA.
He has established himself as an independent artist. “I will forever be grateful for the doors Idols SA has opened for me. However, it’s time now for me to grow from that. They laid the foundation for me, but I can proudly say now that I’m no longer that Karabo from Idols SA, but Karabo the artist.”
