Offender found selling dagga in cell

BARBERTON – A 21-year-old offender appeared at the local magistrate’s court after he was found running an illegal business behind bars.

Mpumalanga News learnt that the offender at the correctional service by the name of Sizwe Mondlane, was found with a 5kg bag of dagga in his cell during the search and was arrested.

Mandlane is expected to make his second appearance in court next week Tuesday.
The spokesperson of the Pienaar Cluster Sgt Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident.
