Residents are fed up of crime
Community members have called upon the police to re-position themselves and fight against crime
BARBERTON – Residents are fed up of criminal activities that have turned the township into a criminals’ den.
They raised that during a peaceful march that was held on Saturday as they handed over a memorandum of their grievances at the local police station.

The demanded that police must fulfill their mandate and do justice to the community by uprooting the notorious “Panga Gang”and other criminal elements.

The gang started to make headlines early in 2014, and lately they’ve hit the streets once again causing havoc.
