SCAM ALERT: Tourism department warns companies
Businesses people and the public should take caution of the scam to avoid falling victim to crime.
The National Department of Tourism wants to alert the public about a fraudulent LinkedIn account of Minister Thokozile Xasa.
The account attempts to extort funds from different companies.
The method used is: A member of the company/public receives an email, similar to the one below, claiming to be an email from the Minister of Tourism, Ms Tokozile Xasa.
